Alex Boerner has been a staff photographer for the Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers since April of 2002. Prior to living and working in Florida, he was a staff photographer for the N'West Iowa REVIEW, in Sheldon, Iowa, as well as a freelance photographer/assistant in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He graduated in 1998 with a B.A. degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.

He currently lives in Stuart, FL with his wife Deborah Silver, and is available for assignments that do not conflict with the interests of the Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers.
